The Gewa case steel safety cable comes standard on most new Gewa violin, viola and cello cases and is available here as an accessory on its own. Straps can fail and do fail and these cables provide 100% assurance that your case won’t crash to the ground should the clips on your case strap ever give way.

Unscrew the metal screw, loop the cable through the anchor on the case and a suitable point on the actual strap and do it up again.
