Short version: Warchal Amber violin strings deliver the rich, complex sound of the finest gut strings with modern tuning stability. Available as a set and as single strings, for purchase or as a New String Trial at SoundBox Strings.
The Amber set was developed to deliver the sound quality of the finest gut strings—without the usual tuning instabilities. It features W-Core®, a completely new core material created by Warchal's Research & Development team. The Amber E string uses Warchal's helix design, which gives it exceptional elasticity and a new level of tonal richness while helping to prevent whistling.
